The first round of openings are over and it can be said, it was such a great and unique experience for all! A week full of new artworks, enriching discussions and of meeting very intersting young artists. But we don’t want to keep these great moments from you, so make yourselves an idea of our first journey…
Our coach took us 400 km away from Vienna to the first station Lublijana. Our head of Press, Erwin Uhrmann and our Jurors Philippe Batka from Vienna Insurance Group and Andreas Hoffer from the Essl Museum can’t wait to hit the road with our cool bus.
The jury memebers looked at an exceptional artwork created by the award winner Ana Jagodic in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova in Slovenia. It was so interesting to see, how everyday products of mass media, in this case used wax strips, can be used.
The MSUM in Ljubljana. In front of this impressive museum a waiting Jury.
Before the start of the everyday Jury Session the Jury took some important notes.
